Lenskart Android Interview Experience

This post covers my interview experience with Lenskart, including questions asked in both Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and Android domains.
DSA Questions
1. Search in a Sorted Matrix
Problem:
Given an m × n matrix and a target element, find whether the element exists in O(log(m × n)) time.
Expected Approach:
Treat the matrix as a flattened sorted array and apply binary search.
2. Height of BST from Array
Problem:
Given an array, construct a Binary Search Tree (BST) by inserting elements one by one in the given order. Return the height of the resulting BST.
Key Insight:
The structure (and height) of the BST depends entirely on insertion order. Worst case → skewed tree.
